Week 2:
Tuesday: intervals (1.5 hours)
Wednesday: 50 miles 1-1.5 hours easy/moderate
Thursday: 35-40 miles hill repeats
>Friday: 1-1.5 hours easy
Saturday: team ride
Sunday: 3 hours easy
Week 3:
>Monday: 1-1.5 hours easy

Thursday: 40-50 miles hill repeats
Saturday: team ride
Sunday: 4 hours easy
I was made aware then 5 hard days is a recipe for disaster. So less intense days, more LSD (long slow miles) to recover from intense rides. Not sure if my complete day off should be monday or friday; trying friday this week since i already skipped monday. This will be good, because I tried to do intervals this morning, and my legs were STILL fried from last week. Doing more slow miles will be good for me mentally too, I think; lets me ride my bike for fun rather then just as a torture device.
And I’m going to start running again… I swear.

Did I mention how fantastic you look these days? Kudos on being #1, no easy task and a true testament to your workout routines. Some day you’ll have to find a way to bottle your energy/passion and sell some to me. Heck, I bet 80% of PDX would throw down!
