“Kori: In terms of promoting women’s participation in bike racing, I think the best thing women can do is act as mentors. It’s generally much less intimidating for a woman to try some new sport when she’s introduced to it by a group of friendly females–it’s just easier to face potential embarrassment in front of other women than it is in front of men, I think.”
