Race Report – Final PIR

Tonight was ladies’ night at PIR, as well as the final race of the season (sniff). There were a TON of novice women there, which is great. Although actually kinda crappy because the newbies were very jittery and unable to hold a line. There were some close calls, but overall was a pretty good race…it’s nice to be able to experience being in a large pack. I was rather sore from cross training on Sunday (every time I stood up from my desk at work my inner thighs screamed at me), but I did ok, especially since it was a pretty slow race. I lead the final attack, pretty early too, but I was thinking maybe I could win with endurance, since I’m not much of a sprinter. But a good 4 or 5 people got around me. Oh well, I still got about 5th of about 20. I’ll post the actual results when they’re emailed.
