OK, so I’m doing some site maintenance (adding a better event calendar and a different banner just for fun), and I noticed something interesting in my site analytics I recently set (OMG! I got another visitor!). One of the search terms I got a hit on from google was “women’s bike racing oregon.” so I googled it. It was the 3rd listing. THE THIRD. wtf? OK, now I know this site is pretty dang sweet, but I don’t get much traffic (yet), and I *thought* google ratings were at least partially based on popularity. So that must mean that NO ONE EVER WRITES ABOUT WOMEN’S BIKE RACING. I guess I better roll up my sleeves and get busy.
